Carlsbad Seaside Academy proudly offers the full range of learning and development experiences in a robust English Language and Literature program at the high school level. All of the courses that we offer are UC Approved and meet the UC/CSU A-G Requirements. Our core list of literature includes both classic and contemporary literature. Our full suite of writing development includes in depth instruction and practice that culminates in full process essays, research papers, argumentative and persuasive essays. 

Carlsbad Seaside Academy proudly embeds The Next Generation Standards within the instruction, CCSS Standards (The Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts & Literacy in History/Social Studies, Science, and Technical Subjects).

The CSA English Program complements a comprehensive learning and instructional program that is designed to prepare all students for success in college, career, and life by the time they graduate from high school.
