SEASIDE HIGH SCHOOL COURSE SELECTION 2024-25

Incoming 9th Graders
Will meet with Mrs. Payne (Seaside Counselor) to select their courses for 9th grade. Course request forms will be submitted to Mrs. Payne during or after your appointment. Mrs. Payne will be going into the 8th grade Science class to do course selection with students. If an incoming 9th grade family woudl like a meeting beyond that please email me to set one up: lpayne@carlsbadusd.net

Incoming 10th-12th Graders
Will meet with their current advisors to select their courses for next year. Course request forms will be submitted to your advisor. Mrs Payne (Seaside Counselor) will input each students' course selections into Aeries. Please review the CSA Course Selection presentation below before your course selection meeting.

COURSE REQUEST FORMS
Students and families may review the courses listed on the Course Request Forms (CRF) below to prepare for your meeting. Course request forms will be filled out during your meeting with Mrs. Payne or your advisor. Course Request Forms (CRF’s) are due by April 12th, 2024.

*CSA prioritizes enrollment for full time students (4 or more classes); therefore, filling out this form does not guarantee enrollment.

CUSD Summer School Credit Recovery - CUSD will be holding summer school this summer in an in person format only. Please click on the Summer School letter below for more detailed information (format, dates, and how to register). Print the form, complete it and return it to your Counselor by May 3rd.

OFF-CAMPUS COURSES
Off-Campus Courses must be approved by Administration before you register for courses. If you plan on taking courses outside of Carlsbad Unified School District, please fill out the form listed below and refer to the Off-Campus Courses page on our website.
