ON CAMPUS PRODUCE BOX DISTRIBUTION

A local non-profit has been providing FREE box of produce to families throught the district.  The non-profit is Plus box which is designed to increase the capacity of public and community support programs and maximize impact by meeting children and their families where they are; at school.  +Box Includes: Fresh Produce enough for four servings. Volunteer opprotunities are also available thru them.  

For on campus distribution please contact Community Liaison Ms. Torres. Boxes are available on distribution dates after 11am until 2:30pm.  First come first serve basis.

DISTRIBUCION DE CAJAS DE COMIDAS

Una organizacion local sin fines de lucro ha estado proporcionando cajas de productos agricolas GRATIS a familias de todo el distrito. La organicacion sin fines de lucro Plus Box está diseñado para aumentar la capacidad de los programas de apoyo público y comunitario y maximizar el impacto al conocer a los niños y sus familias donde se encuentran; en la escuela. La caja incluye: productos frescos. Cada +BOX incluye alimento suficiente para cuatro raciones.

Comuníquese con la Enlace Comunitario Sra. Torres. Las cajas están disponibles en fechas de distribución después de las 11 am hasta las 2:30 pm. Por orden de llegada.

Community Liaison / Enlace Comunitario

A Community Liaison is responsible for managing the communication between local institutions and community citizens. 

My name is Leticia Torres, your school’s Bilingual Community Liaison.  I interact with the local community on behalf of your school.  Some activities include participate in On Campus activities such as Back to School night, CTE showcase, Financial Aide night, PTSA Insights and many others.  In addition I attend community meetings such as YES Meeting, CUSD Parent Univeristy. We partner with the City of Carlsbad Library Community Learning Center to hold parent activities.  I also assist in interpreting for parents or students and encourage parents to attend and learn about the students schools programs such as Parent Square, Aeries, Google Classroom, Naviance and much more.  

I look forward to assisting families throughout the school year.  Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Un enlace comunitario es responsable de gestionar la comunicacion entre las instituciones locales y los ciudadanos de la comunidad. 

Mi nombre es Leticia Torres Enlace Comunitario Bilingue en su escuela.  Interactuo con la comunidad local en nombre de su escuela.  Algunas actividades incluyen participar en actividades en el campus como la noche de regreso a clases, la presentacin de CTE, la noche de ayuda financiera, PTSA Insights y mucho mas.  Ademas asistir a reuniones comunitarias como YES Meeting,  CUSD Parent University. MOBILE CRISIS RESPONSE TEAM (MCRT)

Mobile Crisis Response Teams (MCRT) provide in-person support to anyone, anywhere, experiencing a mental health, drug, or alcohol-related crisis.  

MCRT dispatches behavioral health experts to emergency calls instead of law enforcement, when appropriate, with teams made up of clinicians, case managers, and peer support specialists.
