Admissions & Enrollment

Thank you for your interest in Carlsbad Seaside Academy! We're excited that you're exploring Seaside as an option for the upcoming 2026-27 school year.

Why Choose Carlsbad Seaside Academy?

Carlsbad Seaside Academy offers an independent study program that allows students to take core classes online while still being enrolled in their home high school. Whether you're looking for a full-time alternative or part-time coursework to supplement your schedule, Seaside provides an alternative learning experience with personalized support. Depending on courses a student is enrolled in, students will attend in person classes 2-3 times a week, as well as meeting weekly with their Advisor to review progress.

Seaside Academy offers two enrollment pathways:

  • Full-Time Enrollment - For students who will attend Seaside as their primary high school.
  • Part-Time Enrollment - For students who will remain enrolled at a comprehensive high school while taking at least two classes through Seaside, to support flexibility with athletics, the arts, work, or other commitments.

To get started, families should select one of the two enrollment options and complete the corresponding request form. Your responses help us understand your student's needs and identify how Seaside can best provide support.
